Waldwick Mom, Teacher's Aide Lisa Forte Dies

Lisa M. Forte (nee Scardigno) of Waldwick died Saturday, March 31. She was 54 years old.

Born in Hoboken, Lisa lived in Palisades Park before moving to Waldwick 25 years ago. Sht was a teacher’s aide for the Waldwick Board of Education for 15 years and a parishioner of St. Luke’s RC Church, Ho-Ho-Kus.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Vincent Forte; daughters Samantha and Sabrina Forte; parents Sam and Rose Scardigno of Palisades Park; sisters Sandy Biango and Christina DeAngelis; brothers Sergio Scardigno and Mark Scardigno.

Visitation: Wednesday, 4 to 8 p.m., Vander Plaat Funeral Home, Godwin Avenue, Wyckoff.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, 11 a.m. at St. Luke’s RC Church, 340 Franklin Turnpike, Ho-Ho-Kus, entombment to follow at Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah.
